2006 Civic Trunk Lock Assembly Sign In

Hello!

My trunk latch broke awhile ago, and I tried to fix it before replacing the whole part. I tried WD40, checking if springs were missing, bent pieces, adjusting striker, etc...but I've determined it needs to be replaced. In my attempt to fix it though, I disassembled the lock mechanism and took it out to look at it. In wiggling the part out of the trunk lid though, the trunk lock bar and its connectors/adaptors broke apart and I'm really struggling to get it back in (I apologize if I'm using the incorrect terms, I'm not very experienced). I don't see where I can remove the most superficial trunk lid covering that's encapsulating the lock bar, so I'm attempting to access the bar, with all of its washers/connectors to hook onto the lock itself, all while working in the tiny hole that was left by removing the lock. It was the right lock bar, which I can manipulate at the rod's other end attachment by pulling the rod downwards so it's slightly more accessible, but I'm at a loss.

I seem to have a car model where the lock mechanism is very specific and way more expensive, only one option available, if my research is correct. The car is a 2006 Honda Civic Coupe LX, 2 door, 1.8L 5A. I purchased the part 74851-SVA-A13. Below are some images that I think are helpful to explain what I'm struggling with. The picture of the lock is not the actual part though, it just is the best image I could locate that accurately shows the part of the lock in question. Do you have any suggestions on how to get the lock back in place correctly given my work space?
I'm sorry for being wordy and my naivety. Thank you so much for your help and patience.

It's designed for part A to be able to freely slide. Part 48,49 are flat washers, one probably plastic and one metal. Part 14 appears to be a locking clip of some kind that holds them on.

The housing of that cable has to anchor in the U slot to hold the cable still.

Thank you for your response! And yes, it was orientation of the washers/locking clip that I needed help with. Do the washers go on the bar first or do I pull the bar through the loop and then put the washers on? Sorry for not being clearer, I was needing assistance regarding the order of piece placement.

Judging by the picture, they both go on the outside. I'm assuming they may be different materials. If one if plastic, that one goes on first.
