Acura 2019 RDX Right Rear View Mirror Loose

Hi,

The mirror is intact within the casing, and the casing itself is not damaged and the mirror moves well within the casing using the buttons by the side of the driver seat. The place where the plastic casing that holds the mirror is connected to the plastic extension from the car is loose. I tried to move it around to see if it snaps back in place but it doesn't and I don't know how to open it up to see what is wrong. Is there any easy fix to repair this?

I'm not clear on where this is loose.
If it is where the mirror mounts to the door, there are nuts on the inside of the door under the plastic cover.

If it's loose at the point where is swivels, then you will likely need a new mirror.

Just Googled the type of mirror showed in swivels to pull in if wanted/needed. The correct name of unit or any outside of car is "side view mirror." I also think you are in for a new unit or same color used saw some on eBay following me looking it up.
No fix IMO (others) at the age sustained damage/abuse of some sort. Not as nasty $ as I though, $200-300 +/- YOU can hunt too IDK if color was all optional or plain black most common find your color save a fortune to paint the thing IDK if some model did or didn't for this wasn't clear,
