Cadillac CTS Coupe 2011

Cadillac CTS Coupe 2011 Hi. I've crushed my caddi (149k miles) and I still own money for a bank, so I'm just wondering If it's better to repair it and try to sell or sell it as is. Questions: 1. How much will cost body repair? 2. How much will cost air bags change and Is it hard to do it by myself? Thank You! http://autoforums.carjunky.com/photos/pic/5389jNMl/1621.jpg http://autoforums.carjunky.com/photos/pic/5389jNMl/1622.jpg http://autoforums.carjunky.com/photos/pic/5389jNMl/1623.jpg http://autoforums.carjunky.com/photos/pic/5389jNMl/1624.jpg http://autoforums.carjunky.com/photos/pic/5389jNMl/1625.jpg

It's not my section of the trade but that car is over IMO see what you can get for it. Air bag(s) set off it's done with. Owing $$ on a 9 year old car is unfortunate surprised if that also doesn't mean full insurance for any loss at least get out still owing on a junk/salvage car. IDK if or how you could hold the title to even dispose of it until paid for? Couldn't where I am, T

I hate to tell you but that car is totaled. The airbag system alone would be over $3K. You don't change just the airbag. The module, seat belts and impact sensors also have to be replaced and reprogrammed. It needs an entire rear clip and door. Sell it for parts if you didn't have insurance which I don't understand not having if it was financed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Long story. I know guys that I've already messed up but whatever. Before that, like one year ago I crushed my brand new car and my insurance went up a lot, so after this accident I didn't want to involve insurance and I just canceled it. So You saying over 3k for airbags, but the front airbag in wheel didn't explode so maybe a little bit less, how do you think? And If, do You know +/- how much I can get selling it for a parts? Just asking, because I don't have any idea how to deal with it. Thank You!

We can't give you specific parts prices. That's why you take it to a body shop for accurate estimates. The value as it sits I would guess around $1,000 to $1500, depending on the mileage and condition.
