Electric Car Seat
Not sure where to post this. 2007 impala electric seat won't go up or down. Motor is working and shaft toward the front of the seat is turning. Are there gears that can be replaced or a linkage that could be broken? Hate to have to replace entire assy. $250 Seat is about half way up/down.

Sometimes you can find aftermarket parts online but most of the time that is only available as an assembly from the dealer. $250 sounds like a great price. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

The only replacement parts I see are the motor with worm shaft so if that part is good, you likely need the whole assembly.
