Hi all - Question on the front bumper of a 2014 Hyundai Elantra. My front driver's side bumper was damaged in an accident many years ago. It was minor enough that I didn't feel the need to have it repaired. Recently it seems to have become more loose; I don't know if it was hit again, or if it happened naturally. My questions: 1) What is the likelihood that the bumper could fall off, or at least continue to loosen? 2) Any ideas what this kind of repair might run me? Thanks so much.

You're going to need at the lease a new bumper with refinishing and likely the clips that hold the ends on. Wild guess is around $1000 if it doesn't have any more hidden damage. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

It could potentially fall off. They generally have one bolt at each end and a lot of plastic clips in between. You could try taking the end that is hanging off and press it in to the seam where there are clips that pinch the rib to hold it in place. If that clip is damaged and it likely is, it won't hold it in place.
