Any ideas how to fill the void?

Easy - a new one and grease those now exposed bulb sockets. If you have the old one and broken fixes if you have all of it would vary if possible at all,

Re: Spolier Fell Off Sign In

I was travelling pretty fast and couldn't find the one that fell off.
I live in Thailand and it is an imported car, 1998, and I can't find the part anywhere.
So, I want to 'build' a new one t save money.

I think the time to save money is long gone. You have a vehicle apparently not common to your area and that's a problem. Not sure but would consult an auto body repair shop for the fix or up to fabricating something plus fastening it such that it doesn't just fall off again.

You may need to contact the auto maker for help. I doubt this is easy to make up with assorted materials to work never mind look ok?

"building" a body panel is a pretty far fetched idea.

Thanks guys for the replies. I know now that my idea to 'build' something from bondo is foolish.

Maybe I can get them to make a big fancy spoiler!

Re: Spolier Fell Off Sign In

Try searching used parts and see what you can find. Any Bondo attempt will just make it harder to do much later for a better something or fix.

Appears from you pics that there was tape holding it before it fell off - right? Well, then you have to consider getting fasteners right also with even whole used must specify. I know you want to save money but probably going to cost any which way you go.

At least plug with temporary caulking material to seal out water on some things as needed. I couldn't know what is available to you in Thailand for auto body repair plus a car not (didn't you say that?) sold there what they would do so suggest asking a shop what the approach would be if they did it all start to finish.

Pics were helpful. That particular spoiler looks quite integrated to body shape and 3rd or high mount brake light so much it would be a total pest to just make something. Just keep water out for now till you figure it out,
