2019 Ford F150 brake shudder Sign In

From day one at 5 miles on the odometer this new truck has had a very slight rapid plus heard and felt in the pedal only when lightly touching the brakes. This light pluse fluctuates faster or slower depending on the speed. I have not pulled the rotors or pads off yet but the Rotors surface mic out flat level on visible front side with wheels off. I would like to know whats possibly wrong before or if I take it back to the dealer who will keep it for a week due to back log or break something else.. Thanks

Don't touch it! If anything was under warranty that would be. Strong clue: It's an old new truck and the brakes rusted you should see that thru the wheels on most where they did as they don't equally "gun-rust" under pads as the rest.

Insist on NEW not machining rotors it is new, sold as new and should be new not fixed up,

Sorry for two posts in case you already read the first. Just take it back NOW and show the problem if tolerable at all but make the appointment to fix this as new as said. It's not a first for me with new older stock vehicles to need that. Look at door jam see the month and year it was built new could even be from 2018 model year isn't the date things were made and stuck outside in weather,

I agree with Tom,

DO NOT mess with this truck in any way. That would just give the dealer the excuse they are looking for to turn you away.

I wouldn't demand any specific repair. Just be persistent about the problem and if you don't get satisfaction, move up the chain of command and you will eventually get results.

Thanks. After it was built it took 6 weeks to ship it from Kansas to Georgia by rail and then to the dealership where it sat 1 week for prep and tire swap. Like I said it had less than 5 miles on the odometer.
