Hello,
2013 Hyundai Elantra limited (manual)
110k miles
Hi guys,
I was changing the rotors and brakes on my Elantra and the rear passenger side won't screw back in. I do have the tool, and I've done this brake job 2 other times in the past without issue. I pumped the brake until the piston popped out and cleaned any corrosion with a dremel. It does not appear in bad shape. I go to screw it back in, and it catches the threads and turns easily by hand for approximately 2 rotations, then bam, just stops, and cannot advance even with the tool. I was going to buy a new caliper, but was thinking I'd check here first to see if there's something I haven't tried.

If you popped the piston out of that caliper you are in a bit of trouble getting it back together.
The best thing you can do now is replace the caliper
