How to remove stripped brake line Sign In

I was bleeding my rear brakes, and had a hard time getting the brake line back in. I think I did nearly everything I should not have. Now I need to replace the back left brake line but I cannot remove the bolts as they are completely stripped. One is entirely stripped (circular now, and slightly bent) I took an electric saw to the metal hose, but I cannot get the stripped bolts out (so far I have tried lubricant and tapping). What should I do? Is this a lost cause and I need to take it in?

What you can do now is what you should have done in the first place, tow it to a competent repair shop.

You have already succeeded in making things 10 times worse than they were. It's time to cut your losses and start using your credit card instead of your vice grips.

Go on up the line to the first fitting you can unscrew and replace from there back. I think you'll still save money. Unless it's the one in the caliper that's stripped then just replace the caliper.
