One burning brake after brake job Sign In

Hey there, I have a 2014 dodge caravan, 4 months or so I broke a parking brake cable, and had that as well as my rear brake pads replaced.
Fast forward to today, I drove my car for about 30 minutes this morning and could smell burning from inside the car. When I stop to examine I see it's my rear passenger brake, my rim was so hot I couldn't touch it. Why would this be? So shortly after having the brake job? Could it be the parking cable they replaced? I'm worried to drive it. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

OK, so you know that brake is dragging for some reason. You didn't state whether that was the same side the cable was replaced.

You should have immediately headed back to the shop that did that. It never should have left that way.

The entire assembly was replaced, front and both rear cables. And like I said, it just happened suddenly today, and the repairs were done 4-5 months ago.
Dident notice anything when I drove away from the shop

OK, it's likely not the shop's fault but you still need to get it back into the shop ASAP.
