2005 Navigator Engine Sign In

I am looking to purchase this used Navigator. Does this engine sound normal? Any red flags? Oil was extremely low, but no dripping under the car, and maintenance records are provided, and always on schedule.

I don't know a thing about cars! Thank you for your input.

A. Take the thing to another non related shop for a pre-purchase inspection. Ask for a list of things found that need doing and results of tests in writing.

Other: Finding engine oil low if it really was is a serious warning. Any decent crooked seller would at least have it full to sell it. Seems nobody has a good clue on this so get one or look on for better than that,

No, that noise is not normal. Walk away.
