2013 Hyundai Elantra shudder at Idle Sign In

Ok so my wife has a 2013 Elantra 4cyl with 129k that is having a off and on shudder at idle. It did this awhile back and I simply ran a can of sea foam through it and it went away. It never stalls when doing this or feels as though it’s missing when running. No check engine lights. The idle will just drop for a second and the engine shudders like it’s going to stall then come back to normal. Plugs were changed at 100k but haven’t checked them yet. Where should I start

A code reading may help but some things you can do before that:
Note: Watch out for SeaFoam it's really strong try to use less than it suggests on container. That works for fuel things but may also have trashed the plugs.

Look for and check for vacuum leaks, integrity of intake parts - all of them. IDK, some if one cylinder can feel it at tail pipe while active then know how to cancel plugs one at a time target which then why it's failing.

That's just some things you can do quickly and easily before moving on to the fix it not just some of those,

It sounds like you have an intermittent misfire. This will eventually get picked up by the computer and set a code.

The way the computer works is it has to see this problem 2 consecutive times before it sets a code. On the first event it sets a "pending" code which can be read by a professional scan tool. Once you get some sort of code it will identify which cylinder has the issue and you will be able to investigate further.
