Challenge time!! Help us out here!!! 39 epople read our post but we got not one response. We can't believe nobody anywhere knows what could be causing our 95 Ranger XLT to make weirdo rumbly noises when turning toward the left or right! To reiterate, our '95 Ranger XLT (manual 4WD) has developed a whining sort of rumble noise when you are turning toward the left, or when turning toward the right. It seems like it happens at 35 mph or higher. It never makes the noise on both sides during the same car trip. This has been going on for at least a month. Tires were checked, they are fine. We welcome any and all ideas about what could be wrong and how we might fix it!!

Carefully inspect wheel bearings. These in particular can be elusive without actually looking right at them as they should be a servicable inner/outer set,
