Year: 1996 Make: Toyota Model: Corolla Engine: Don't know Mileage: 100,000 Gosh, let me see if I can describe it or think what the sound reminds me of... It's fairly high-pitched. It's kind of squealy. It sounds like the sound is going in circles rather than straight, if that makes any sense. It seems to happen most when I start out from parked, but I think it can happen at other times, too. Any idea what this could be?

Welcome: From that so far I would check or have checked the serpentine belt and while off the pulleys on the engine. Engine size should be listed underhood on a decal so far not important to the noise for the most part, T
