Engine Sputtering question Sign In

I have a question regarding my 1994 Ford Explorer 4x4. I had just replaced my engine and tranny about 4 weeks ago and now when I start the engine in the mornings to go home from work it sputters until it warms up. Was wondering what I could do to correct the problem. I changed all the plugs, wires, filters.

I’ve seen a number of these with vacuum leaks between the upper and lower intakes, while their cold. Once the engine reaches operating temperatures, the manifolds and gaskets expand and seal themselves.
