  post locked   Vibrating!!!

Year of vehicle: 2009
Make of vehicle: Chevrolet
Model of vehicle: Cobalt
Engine size: 2.2
Mileage/Kilometers:48,500

Here it goes, if im parked I feel it a slight bit. When I put it in drive or reverse it gets heavier. When I start going faster the vibrations become worse. What are all the possible things to make this happen?

The things I have done to my car that could probably affect it. I have 17 inch rims, catback exhaust. (Megan Spec Drift), eibach sportlines, camber kit, and steering rack spacers.

I can even feel the vibrations holding my shifter.

You have messed up the car IMO so there isn't much more to say. Why the hell didn't you leave it alone or buy a car more to your liking? Messing with stuff ended in the 1960s!

Well sir, why didn't I buy a car to my liking? It just cost money. Which I'm a collee student so I can just make a car to my liking. It didn't end in the 1960's. In fact in this day in age the aftermarket companys has raised greatly and tuning companies have too. Don't tell me it hasn't. I have 2 degrees and I'm getting my masters. Also this a help thread not speak an unhealthful post. Appearantly from the way you talk you are base model rider and a older gentleman at that. Also I have a base model car, so the parts that came on it weren't the best. The stuff I did put on my car has raised my mpg to 43 mpgs

College! I've never known such stupid idiots and did do years of it. Ivy league at that! You don't know what you are doing, observations are wrong - plain wrong without doubt as if some fool tricks made this car better it would have come that way.

If you think you can outsmart the original design you already have shown how stupid you are,

Haha no sir. Insults are for children and shows the amount of intelligence you have. Looks like you never went college. Actually you can make a car perform better from the manfactory. Reasons why they have upgraded models you can buy. Also if I'm
Getting better mpg than before, it shows a upgrade from the orginal. Please don't waste space on my thread with your non sense and lack of sense. Look at tuning companies. Like trifecta and mines. Mines made the GTR so much better. Manfactories build cars on budgets. Reasons why the government bails them out, lack of money. There will always be better performing parts for cars, so consumers can buy that part and tweak their vehicle. For example, you can always make a house better than it is. Think before you say.

Also to add to your incorrect theory. Yes aftermarket parts make
A car per from better. Reason why car companies make products for
Their products. Example. GMPP. General motor performance parts. Also dynos and very intelligent car enthusiast shown that even car companies performance parts don't perform as better as other performance parts.

These people would have gotten more return from their money by spending it on swamp land in Florida.
The only way that car ever saw 43 MPG was dropping it out of a plane.

43 mpg? Wow, manufacture tries to balance between power and economy and a vehicle that is rated at around 35 mpg is getting 43 now?

As long as the vibration isn't being caused by a misfire of some sorts, you should look for engine mount problems.

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
