about groove on rotor

TOYOTA CELICA 1990 1.6L

I have noticed a grove 1-2 mm deep on the passenger side rotor... how serious could it be the vehicle is breaking ok and no noises can be heard but should I be concerned?

IMO - the groove alone isn't a real problem but a comprehensive brake inspection is in order. Sometimes debris might have embedded in a pad or it's a warning that they are close to worn out,
