clanking grinding noise

I have a 1987 Nissan Datsun 910 Bluebird, when driving even at 40 or start to excellerate I hear this noise also like stretching cable, I also experience that when excellerating the engine races the car pulls back then kick forward. recently changed 2 of the u joints as the noise I heard was coming from the rear, so I had both the front and back joints changed as they appeared defective, not the center and I am still hearing the noise but now more from in front, I observed for months that there are beads of oil where the transmission joins, but never any on the ground, otherwise besides its age the car works great.

Guess: Engine/transmission mounts?? Center bearings and u-joints in driveshafts can cause problems but not so much with the engine racing which might be that it can move around too much?? T
