1993 chevy cavalier 2.2 4 cyl auto. behind front axle is it a sway bar or tie rod it broke loose on both sides it is supposed to be connected below axles but hit a deer well ran over a dead one in road and both sides are loose when i turn they rub up against axle i have looked on autozone and oreillys websites but can't find the part anywhere because i do not know what it is can someone tell me?

Sway bar's pins (the bolt and bushings) could break on both sides and still drive. Those look like this -




If you don't know whether it's sway bar or tie rod ends I strongly suggest you get this checked for damage seen or unseen. Broken tie rods you wouldn't be steering the car at all,
