I have a 2002 Malibu. The door ajar and headlight chimes come from the radio speaker. The chimes stopped working. I was thinking maybe if I reset the radio they would come back on. I don't know how to reset the radio. I disconnected the battery but all the stations stayed there. Can you anyone Help me?

Before you reset your radio, check your in car fuses to make sure they are good. Use the diagram on the lid of the fuse box to identify which is your door chyme. Let me know how you go.

It turns out that I don't have to reset the radio. My left front door speaker is blown out. Now anybody know how to remove the speaker from the door?

Take of your window winder, then remove the skin from the door. If you have electric windows it is more tricky. It is quite easy to do when you have a window winder. If you need intructions in full on how to do it, check out the top thread in this forum "how to install a stereo"
