Hi so my uplanders dvd player on that rail system is stuck on so no disk is in it but it still spins and makes alot of noise. I don't see a fuse just for it and I cant figure out how to get the system off the rail so I can disconnect it. I only used it 3 times so I don't really care that it don't work I just need the power to it off so the noise stops.

I've seen your post and not much certain to say for what to do short of taking a sledge hammer to the whole thing - joke. Check owner's manual for fuse locations and hope it's on its own and pull it out. That would be the easiest to shut it up if so. If it uses speakers for other stereo whatever it has might be a problem? Other would be (ceiling mounted right?) to get at the thing and unplug it. Not a clue how any bezels the surround and hold the thing are attached and bet you don't see plain screws so clips of some sort first then you get at the thing and should be apparent how mounted. Just try hard not to break plastic barbs off as they don't glue back real well. IDK - If all else fails try to just ask at a dealer how to get at it and or disable the whole thing......... T

Thanks I did try and ask 2 diffrant dealers and they only wanted me to pay them to fix it. (can't offered it) The sound comes from the dvd it's self NOT threw the speakers. The fuse I checked if I pull it then the stereo won't work. Yes ceiling mounted no screws or covers to hide them. So frustrating

I have NO software on trim parts at all for this to help but some clues. I would expect a plastic trim cover/bezel to make it look neat held by plastic barbed clips up to ceiling. AYOR if you feel some thing just try a push or pull carefully. Azzholes IMO that a dealer wouldn't take ten seconds to tell or show you but let it be. Those type things EITHER push or pull sometimes just a flat head screwdriver or bent like a hook. Other trim may have barbed round plastic clips that are replaceable or metal ones so just pull. Of course you'll find out when it's broken from the wrong way GMs seem to do things those ways the most. IDK short of real info you might try feeling around with a smooth small something and see if you can get a glance gently prying? Easy on the headliner of course! Probably too new to check out a junkyard and wreck one to see. Don't tell (ha -open web here) that I've done that so I didn't break something on assorted panels and things! One more on this: If you do get it off to view how to unplug it, it may use tamper proof screws. They sell those in sets or one by one at many auto parts outlets if you know the size, T

Is that the dvd player with the built in sceen? If so lower the screen and remove the screws and you can remove the dvd player. ____________________________________________________ Willing to help, willing to learn... Rob

Still guessing. Look for tiny rubber bumper like cushions - might be under those, T

Excellent DS of course. Pete11234 - If that is and bet so correct, arrow is front of vehicle, shows two screws and the other side slides towards where screws were. Just DO NOT BREAK THOSE SLIDE CLIPS! Good luck - screws shown so they are there hidden under something likely but there, T
