Pioneer DEH doesn't turn on

The radio now has no response now, even when the engine is turned off (it will slide out as it worked before), after my battery went out for a couple of times.
I asked my mechanical to check and he found all the electrics outside of the audio box work fine.
What's the potential problem with that? or do you guys have suggested repair shop around Boston, MA? Thank you.
BTW, before it failed, I happened one time that after turning off the engine the panel slided out but didn't go back. Then I shifted the panel left and right a little bit it went back to work for two weeks. Then suddenly the screen can't be read, it showed black when I played CD and showed 'CD playing' when I powered off the audio. Four hours later it died ...

what model pioneer is it?? it may be a bad flexible cable.
