I have a 2000 dodge dakota,I installed a new amp, head unit & wire connector for my new head unit, the stock wire harness is intact & working.I previously had an older amp & HU with subwoofer, all worked perfectly, but i disconnected the wires from head unit & was unable to rewire,so I purchased everything new.Upon wiring correctly the system sounded great with the acception of the driver door speaker stopped working (it worked fine before new head unit)but as soon as I would start engine I would get a whistle through subwoofer upon acceleration.I disconnected subwoofer & was listening to door speakers until I applied the brakes, once I applied the brakes all my speakers stopped working.I have tried to completely disconnect & rewire head unit to the stock wire harness & the head unit works but I notice once I power on the unit it get a brief crackling sound but then there is no music or anything from speakers-----as if they are not connected. These are not the stock speakers in the doors, they are nice kenwoods. Please help,i have previously posted for other problems but now have this.thx
