2004 chevy suburban (5.8/175,000 miles) lights and gauges will not function especially when outside temps are cold. It very rarely did it when temps were in the 40s and above. Seems to be doing it more now that we are having colder weather. Only remedy has been to pound on the dash which made them work most of the time. Recently with colder weather have not been able to get them to function properly. Before I pull it apart and look at all the wiring, wondering if there is something like a relay or such, that often goes out, that I can check first. Thanks.

They have a lot of problems with dash clusters on those. The dealer used to sell reman units. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
