08 Saturn Vue Sign In

Recently purchased an 08 Saturn Vue with the 4 cylinder engine. Have not had any problems until last night when I tried to start the engine, nothing happened. The lights came on and the radio, interior lights, heater etc all worked. When I turned the switch to the start position nothing happened. There was no clicking or slow turning of the engine, just nothing. Are there any fuses I should check? Could it be the starter be bad even though it shows no evidence of trying to engage? Please provide any directions of what the problem could be

Re: 08 Saturn Vue Sign In

Have you tried starting it in Neutral or moving the shifter around?

Re: 08 Saturn Vue Sign In

I'm afraid this circuit is a bit more complicated than you are equipped for.

It uses a relay to operate the starter but this relay is controlled by the Body Control Module. Without a high tech scan tool you won't know what is working and what isn't.
