1957 Chevy 3100 stepside Sign In

I just bought a 57 chevy with a 350 motor. Found out the previous owner had really done a smashingly awful job wiring the truck just to get it running. The headlights aren't working. I know I am going to have to install a new harness but I am having difficulties finding a wiring diagram for the truck. Any help would be appreciated.

kwestfall; Your local library is usually a good source. They should have old manuals available that you can copy pages from. There are also a multitude of Chevrolet 'clubs' on the internet that you may be able to get what you need. Good luck. Also, if I remember correctly, the headlamp switch may have a fuse mounted on it. (check all fuses, of course). Don't overlook the possiblility that both headlamps are bad, or the dimmer switch, which was a problem.
