I have a 1990 Ford Mustang 2.3 Liter and the engine will start and only remain running when voltage is applied on the start circuit. When the key goes back to the ignition position the engine stalls. The only way the engine remains running is when I place a jumper between the yellow constant power under the steering column to the pink start wire. When we disconnect the wire the engine stalls. Any help with what the problem could be will be helpful.

Check all your fuses and fusible links first and then test the output of the ignition switch. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
