1997 camaro part identification Sign In

97 camaro, v-6 engine, 145,000 miles
Trying to identify what this part is that is connected by a line and comes into the engine bay along with both fuel lines from the body of the car. the part looks like a vaccum line is not connected or missing as it has a nipple on the side. the part also has a clear round window on the top of it. Any ideas what this part is. Having misfire problems as well seeing as how this is a part of the fuel line system before it goes to the air intake perhaps this is part of the problem.

Possibly a EVPA vent solenoid?

Strange , it looks just like the part on the 97 camaro in the engine troubleshooting forum . Please only post one time per problem. BTW the question was given the same answer in each forum by different techs.
