1998 chevy cavalier Z24 ABS Light on

I have a 98 z24 with abs light on.I reset it with the scan tool and restart the car light comes back on.the code is rear motor wont run.my question is how can i run the rear motor? Can I jump it? Or is this a dealer fix only? Thanks

It would all depend on what scanner you have some of the generic scanners only give you limited access to the controls if any. You maybe better off going to the dealer, rather then poking around with jumper wires and end up taking out the controller.
It’s not a good thing to let the smoke out of any electronic box. LOL
