I have a 1999 jeep cherokee sport. Its a 4.0l 4x4 with approx. 104k miles on it. My problem is this, i noticed one day when using my turn signal both left and right after approx. 4-5 flashes they will freeze to a constant on position. If i turn the signal off then try again it will flash again 4-5 times then freeze again to a constant on position this happens to both the left and the right turn signal. I replaced the lights for the turn signals, checked the fuses and checked the connection at the turn signals. The connections look ok and after changing the light bulbs nothing is different. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matt

Matt; Assuming that all of the lamps are okay, the first thing I'd check would be the flasher. After that, the turn signal switch, itself. Loren SW Washington

I'm with Loren on this that most likely is a tired flasher. Make sure you have the right one as the MAY be two - one for 4-way hazards and one for directionals and usually they hide it! Listen for noise to find while working, T
