1999 blazer Sign In

I have a 1999 chevy blazer 2wd 4.3 v6.I have this constant ticking sound comming from behind my glove box, which is the turn signal flasher. I replaced it twice, replaced all my bulbs, and I still have this irritating clicking sound as,if, my turn signal is still on. I put my foot on the brake pedal, and it stops, till I let up on the pedal.Someone let me know how I can stop it????????????

Re: 1999 blazer Sign In

There has been an issue with some GM turn signal/hazard switches shorting to power; causing the flasher to become energized. With the switch in the off position, on exterior or dash lights will flash; but the flasher unit will click away.
If this is the cause and not some other form of short to power too the flasher; replacement of the switch is usually the only repair.
