2000 Buick Century 3.1L w/ 80k miles; fully charged and healthy battery, terminals and cables in good condition, have had both the starter and the ignition control module tested and both passed. Wondering if maybe the ignition in the column may be at fault (chipped key). Insert key, turn key on and the dash lights up and flickers repeatedly but does nothing when trying to start the engine. Suggestions? Thanks.

If the dash lights are flickering, you have a power supply problem somewhere.

Is the light that is flashing the security light or is it all the lights?

That would be all the lights including DRL and park lamps.
