Hello, I was graciously informed by another vehicle on the road that my brake lights were not working. I got home to check the problem and sure enough... when I press down the brake the rear lights to not get brighter, nor does the top (third) brake light. I changed all of my brake lights and...to no avail. None of them still work. I messed around with the hazard switch because I new the hazard lights force the rear lights to brighten up. Still, this did not work. Anyone have suggestions? Anything would be much appreciated as this is my wife's car and I fear for her safety.

Possibly bad fuses. Or maybe the stop light switch is bad. Check to see if there is current going to and coming from ther brake light switch. If there is no current going to the switch, look for blown fuses. If current is going to switch, but not out, replace switch. If current coes thrtough the switch, check the turn signal switch. These tests are with the brake pedal depressed. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
