i have a 2000 jeep grand chreokee i used the key to unlock the door instead of the remote and the alarm system went off then i stuck the key in the ingenition which usually will make the alarm go off it didn't this time so i unhook the battery to make it stop and hook it back up now the truck won't do anything but turn over. anyone know what to do?

Your immobilisor has been activated. Your car will do nothing. You will need to get a scan tool on it to reset the BCM. Or if possible, contact jeep and they can give you the manual reset process over the phone.
