Problem started a few weeks ago, wife got in car and truned key. Nothing. After a few tries it started. This happened a couple of times. Battery has power but nothing electrical would work in the car, lights, windows, radio, etc. The other day same thing only this time there is a clicking sound coming from the steering column, but only when the key is not turned. Tried the key several times and sometimes the guages would come on but not enough power for the windows, etc. Two days later and the clicking in the column is still there (relay or solenoid I think). Anyway, has anyone had this problem and do you know about how much it would cost? Thanks!

If you are getting clicking it is not the solenoid. That clicking is the plunger in the solenoid making contact to turn the drive. It is a power issue. you say your battery is fine? Have you had it tested? If you have power windows moving slow, headlights dim, and windscreen wipers also going slow, it is your battery. If it is definately not the battery, could be body control module..maybe.
