I am having problems. I think I have a short in one of my lines so now whenever I turn my headlights on, the brake lights come on. During the day when the headlights are off, my brake lights work normally but whenever I go to use my turn signal, all three brake lights flash (tail lamps and third brake light). Does anyone have any suggestions?

?? Tis a bit new for screwy things like that. Some things to try for now...... * Try pulling one tail light bulb at a time and look at the socket. Early for serious corrosion but I would look. * If wired, factory or aftermarket for trailer lighting check that out. I think after that if nothing found you may have to look for trauma to wiring starting with areas that might catch road debris. Also if the veh has any aftermarket stuff (alarms and the likes) the connections need to be checked. Hope it's quick and easy, let us know, T

Look at the wiring for the trailer. Has is dragged in the road? ( the plug that is) ? I really don't know what to say without the vehicle in front of me but others here may shed some light on what to look for. It's once again a holiday weekend so be patiant. Some techs have their best resources at work and may have to wait till they get back and have time. Hang in there. Sometimes the best suggestion is to get local help. I hate to give up at this great site for anyone but there are limits to what a keyboard can do. Be well, T
