2002 buick low beam bulb replacement
I have a 2002 buick lesabre with a 3.8 and a bad pass. low beam bulb. I got the socket out of the "globe" but the bulb won't come out. It'll turn in the socket getting real loose at mid point, it doesn't unscrew but won't come out. I would think after working it a little it would come out , but no. I don't want to break it and I didn't see any clips , you don't replace the entire socket do you? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I got a new bulb, came in the "socket" put it in and no lights. took bulb out tested for juice and there was none.at that disconnect, went to fuse box and found a 10 amp for park light right, there was one for left also. The fuse looked good and passed current, had it out and tested for 12 V on one contact and yes there was power to that fuse..There was arcing when I put the fuse back in with engine running then remembered I didn't have the new bulb in, put it in and no lights. Seems there shouldn't have been an arc with out the bulb ? ? The fuse is still good too. There is a micro relay for park lamp but there's only one and I have the left working and not the right so I don't know, any help would be appreciated

You have separate fuses for left and right after the relay. Check your grounds also. The two headlights use separate grounds. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

I went to the wrong fuses under the back seat, the ones I needed are under the hood just behind the pass light, the 10 amp mini was blown and after replacement the light is on. Something blew that fuse though I guess the bad bulb did.Haste makes waste. Thanks again
