I have a 2003 Taurus with the 3.0 motor. I was setting in a parking spot at idle. Interior lights began to dim and then I lost all interior electrical(dash lights, windows, locks, seats, blower motor). I also lost tail lights but turn signals, reverse lights, brake lights are fine. I have checked all the fuses and connections I can think of. Other than that car runs and drives fine. PLEASE HELP

The GEM module is in charge of controlling some of those things you mentioned. Swinging into a repair shop and having them access the GEM with their scan tool to see if it is communicating on the network and storing any codes that may give some clues.

The power seat and AC blower are not controlled by the GEM, but may share some powers and grounds. The power seats would be the easiest thing to troubleshoot which may lead you to the culprit. There is a circuit breaker F2.10 30 amp that you could check to see if you have power at. The power seat circuit is hot all the time. If you don't see you have power at F2.10 CB, then follow the circuit up to F1.03 60 AMP and make sure that link is good and has power. Let us know what you find out.

F2.10 is located in the central junction block
F1.03 is in the underhood fuse box
Look in your owners manual for fuse location.

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

There is power at F2.10 and power seats are now working. Not sure if I mentioned this before but problem is intermittent. Happens while driving, at idle, whenever. Also, I have noticed a clicking noise from the drivers side of the dash prior to all of this happening.
