2003 ford taurus wont start

2003 ford taurus wont start Sign In
I have a 2003 Ford Taurus 3.0L Flex Fuel OHV it just had a tune up. A week after tune up car wouldn't start. I then put in a new starter it still wouldn't start. i hook up a wire to the battery and spliced into the ingnition wire touched the two wires together and the car starts. ( that's how i start my car now). yesterday i put in a new ignition switch thinking that was the problem but i was wrong again car still wont start by using the key. When you turn the key nothing happens. The radio plays the lights work but i can't start the car using the key. What do you think i should try next? Thanks for taking the time to read this and any advise you give is greatly appreciated.

You should try getting the car diagnosed properly to find out what the problem really is. You can spend hundred just throwing parts at it all day. A tech with some electrical knowledge and a wiring diagram can find the real problem in a short time.
