2004 impala ss electrical problems

2004 impala ss electrical problems Sign In

Well for starters it had a battery signal in the message box on the dash and would flash to no high beams. I had it scanned and it pulled up the following codes 1222,1226,1233,1237,1245,po 560, po 620. The gauges in the dash have not worked for a few years along with the abs and traction control. I was wondering if there was anyone that could lead me in the right direction. this car is old so i was also wondering if it was worth fixing.

I don't know what to tell you here. That vehicle doesn't list any codes that start with P12XX

Those codes are probably C codes.


If you have a volt meter, measure the charging system voltage. One of those C codes is for the ABS module detecting an over voltage situation. With the battery light being on and all the wacky things going on, the alternator might be going full tilt.
