2009 huyndai elantra door locks Sign In

Hello everybody

When i closed my 2009 huyndai elantra it dosn't beep to make sur that its closed and it dosn't flash either unless you open it and i was thinking about to add a small horn that will confirm that its closed and i didn't really find any where to connect this horn. i also called the dealer about this problem and they said that i have to install a new manufactory remote or something like that but i dont wanna do that i just wanna make it simple and add a small horn
So if you could please help find out how to do it i would really appreciate it.

Thanks Guys Smile

Are you trying to describe that when you arm the anti-theft the horn doesn't beep and the lights don't flash? If this is correct, have you looked into replacing the battery in the fob? If it is weak, it won't send the signal to the receiver to arm the system.

Hi steve

its not about the anti-thief its about locking the doors as i saw many cars when they get closed they do a little beep at the end which confirm that its locked and mine dosn't beep at the end it just locks the doors and thats it, So what i was trying to say is if there is any possibility to make it beep like adding a horn .

Thanks buddySmile
