A while back now I was having some issues with my alternator... battery kept draining. That's all been fixed. However when a friend tried jumping it once while I had this problem, all the electrical in the car went bonkers. The radio doesn't work, but the display is perfectly fine. If I put in a cassette, it will run, but won't play through the speakers. I thought maybe a fuse was blown, but that wouldn't make sense if the display still worked, and I was fairly certain the speakers themselves don't rely on fuses. I could be wrong. The overhead light within the car no longer works either. I don't think it's possible the four speakers, and subwoofer, and light wiring could all have shorted from that jump, but that's almost the only thing that makes sense, unless you know much more about cars, specifically '92 tercels than I do. Any help would be vastly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Mike

I'd say check the fuses first. Look at this...
