Hi, I have a 93 olds delta 88. The battery was replaced three weeks ago and the alternater was replaced about two years ago. The car starts up great. But I can't drive it anywhere because when I hit the brakes or turn on the headlights, the car just dies. The preprogrammed radio stations all revert back to the original channels (like when the battery is replaced) so I know there's an electrical problem somewhere. The cables are tight, the alternator and battery dash lights are not coming on indicating a problem. And, of course, there is no corrosion on the battery terminals. Can someone tell me what may be the most likely cause? Thanks! Heather

A few things to rule out..... * The battery cables where they go to starter (pos) and engine block (neg) and a ground strap from engine to body needs to be strong and intact. They must be good at both ends. Good luck, T
