Okay so here goes. I have a 97 dodge grand caravan and im having what i believe to be one huge wiring problem. All my dash gauges are not functional except the tach. The odometer comes on when it feels like it. The interior and headlights work fine, as do the turn signals. Also my heater first of all blows nothing but cold air. Second, it wont change fan speeds nor can i move it from the top vents. It wont go into defrost either. But the rear heater vent works and blows hot air. Wtf?

I don't think you are going to find a common cause for all that. The dash issues are probably a bad cluster. This is just going to have to be systematically approached, one issue at a time. If you don't have a bunch of electrical knowledge, then this probably isn't for you. I would probably tackle the AC issues first. Always start out by testing all your fuses using a test light with the key on. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
