I have a 97 Ford Explorer XLT, it started making a beeping sound everytime I start the car and then sometimes while I'm driving. it goes 3 beeps then it stops for a few seconds and then it starts again for 5 sets of 3's and it sounds like it comes from a blue box located behind the panel directly near where a front passengers rights foot would be. Can you tell me what it could be? Thanks

Sounds to me like you have a problem in the air bag system. My Ford repair DVD's will not read with my new OS on the puter. You may need to find a place that has a scanner that can retrieve codes for the air bag system. A lot of the time, the problem is a burned out bulb or a bad switch. Wish I could give you the exact problem. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
