Just replaced fuel pump and had to move my ground wire. Now the tail lights, brake lights and turn signals do not work if my head lights are on. As long as my head lights are turned off they work fine. I never touched any thing under my hood. Any one else have the same problem. And if so I would love to know what you did to fix your problem.

Took ground wire from frame. It was not allowing it to ground there even with new wire to frame. Grounded to body of Tahoe now and it starts great. Then we noticed that once my head lights are turned on I know longer have any brake lites, turn signals, or tail lites. But I do have turn signals on the front of my Tahoe with the head lites on they just blink really fast. Without head lites on I have no problem with any of these issues. Thanks!

Check your main ground wire from batt to frame and to body . Look along firewall for a bonding strap from body to frame ., The symtoms you having are usally associated with bad grounds . One way to test is to connect the ground cable of a jumper cable to Neg batt post and the other end of jumper cable to frame and then body and see if things change . LIFE'S SHORT GO FISH

Had tried that once before. But got underneath to check the ground strap to motor and discovered it was stuck onto the exhaust manifold. Causing it to burn into. Replaced with new ground wire and now all is good. Thank you!!! Now I'm going fishing for a big one!

NO. Grounds do not go to exhaust manifolds. If a 5.7 I can go look right where it goes. There are more through the vehicle and may be tight and poor or no connection and need be removed, cleaned or perhaps replaced. From a rust belt here I'm forever spraying them with WD-40 or even grease. These straps can be all over that place and frequently just braided wire with no coating and eyelet ends. Other: fast blinkers with no rears would be common........... T

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest and it must be me! Sorry - have a boat load to tend to on the home-front and not thinking real well all the time. Thanks RT and never be concerned about some idiotic post by me - just delete it as you see fit, Tom
