Someone please tell me how to wire the starter, it was disconnected due to the tranny being removed and fixed. My brother unhooked a bunch of wires and I dont know where they go. The car wont turn over it clicks from over by the carburator. I have six wires and none of them are labeled. I think 3 go to starter and 3 belong somewhere else. The other issue is I have a clifford alarm with the immobilzer.(ignition kill) That also maybe what the other wires are??? Help me PLEASE......

should be 2 wires go to main post on starter,1/2 diameter coming off selenoid,i do believe one will be purple, kinda of thick red wire should come directly from positive on battery.the other wire should go to the little post coming off seleniod also, should be right of main red wire.each wire should have an eyelit on it to give some idea what starter post it goes to,try to trace the other three wires and see if their not factory harnessed,to let you know to ignore them until you get your wires correct on starter first.you can also call a local chevy dealership, ask for service and they'll tell you the colors of the starter wires.no sense in burning up a starter or worse.
