99 cheve venture 3.4 250000 km I get codes b1010 and b1040 how do I check for problem I have already replaced the clock spring and after that did not work I then checked the old clock spring with a multi meter and had good continuity on both wires

The B1040 has to do with the pretensioner circuit resistance in the driver's seat belt.
The B1010 directly involves the airbag firing circuit and my only advice there is to stay away from it and take it to an experienced professional. It's very dangerous.
