Battery temporarily stopped working

Hi folks, Earlier this week, I parked my car by the train station and started to listen to the radio for a few minutes. The radio just died to my surprised (car had no trouble starting or anything 30 min earlier). I then tried to start the car, and the battery seemed dead - dashboard lights just flickered when I turned the key to start. I went to work and 8 hours later I brought jumper cables, but without them connected, the car just started no problem! What could have happened?

You have a bad connection somewhere, probably at the battery terminals. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
