Both Tail Lights out

Hi there! I have a 2002 Saturn LW200, with about 113K miles on it. The problem I'm having is that suddenly both Tail Lights are out. Both sides failed at the same time. The brake lights are still working. The hazard lights/blinkers are also still working. I have replaced the bulbs and checked the fuses, they're all fine. Not sure where to go from here, any help would be appreciated!

Are you sure it's brake lights and running lights? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

No, sorry. I just checked again, and it's just the running lights.

Haha, yes, I'm sure about that. It's just the running lights. They're both out.

That really doesn't make a lot of sense and you had made a comment about the high mount brake light working. It would have made a lot more sense if it was the brake lights. I would try bulbs first. Test for power at the socket and trace it forward.

Strange, I popped the lights out and put them back in again (same bulbs), and everything worked. Not sure why - maybe something wasn't contacting properly before. At any rate, everything is working now. Thanks for your help!
